Okay, now, here's the beginning of Season 2! Hope you guys like it.

Chapter 7: Unlikely Alliances

Journal Entry 1: I've decided to start a journal to keep track of what has happened lately. It has been 2 weeks since we returned home. Michael's wounds have already been healed and is now been released from the hospital. It looks like life has returned to normal for us. But still, that experience I had in the future haunts me a bit sometimes. Seeing my friends get hurt or die at the hand of Fuse and his minions has really horrified me and I don't want that to happen again. Dexter has asked me to meet him today at Dexlabs to discuss what we will do to prepare for Fuse's arrival.

I put the journal in my pocket and went over to the crate that I received from Dexter before I went through the portal. I opened it and there was a note inside. I picked it and read it.

Inside this crate, you will find: a red jacket with black pants and blue shoes from Bubbles and Mandark, a new sword from Samurai Jack, and some new components to add to your Nanocom from me and Edd. The clothes may look ordinary, but Mandark has improved it so they have armorlike qualities to give you some extra protection. The components that you can add to the Nanocom will allow you to locate any of Fuse's minions, as well as anyone who also has a Nanocom who is at least 200 meters from your position. You guys are our last hope. Stop Fuse before it's late.

When I looked at the back of the note, there were names from all the people that helped us in the future written on it. I grabbed the clothes and put them on while installing the new components into my Nanocom. They were kind of a tight fit as I got into them, though.

"You should get going now, Adam," Nano Numbuh 2 said while I grabbed the sword, "Your meeting with Dexter is today, remember?" "Yeah, you don't want to be late."Nano Buttercup answered. "Don't worry about it,"I replied, "I haven't forgotten." I went outside and looked around my hometown, Sector V. The skys were clear and blue, although it felt kind of wierd not seeing the green sky and Planet Fusion up there. Maybe it feels that way for me because I might have been in the future for too long. I returned the nanos back into my nanocom and went to Townsville.

I ran through the streets of the city as I headed to DexLabs. On the way, I saw Chris chatting with Sarah, so I went over to see how they were doing. "Hey guys!"I said with a cheery mood. "Well, look who decided to show up today," Chris joked, "How are you doing?" "I'm doing well right now," I replied, "After that trip to the future, it feels good to have some time to relax." "You got that right," Chris answered back, "but I kinda miss kicking the future butts of Fuse's minions a bit." "So where are you going right now?"Sarah asked me. "I'm going to meet Dexter to discuss about preparing for Fuse's arrival." "You know what I'm preparing for," Chris said with a confident look on his face, "asking Rosa to go with me to the concert tonight." I then looked around and saw Michael talking with Rosa at a nearby store. "Hey, Chris, I don't want to burst your bubble, but it looks like Michael beat you to her."I said with a smirk on my face. "WHAT!?"he said, surprised when he saw Rosa with him. "Looks like all that confidence just went down the drain."Sarah remarked. "Not if I have anything to say about it!"He said with a determined look on his face. Here we go again. He started running off in a frenzy towards them. Michael then noticed Chris coming with his mace and ran, with Chris hot in pursuit. "That Chris," Sarah said, "He never changes, doesn't he?" "Nope."I answered. "Well, I got to go. I still need to find a outfit to wear for tonight. I'll see you guys at the concert later, okay?" She then left to go to a nearby mall with her other friends.

I continued on the path and arrived at Dexlabs an hour later. I went inside and there was a Dexbot waiting for me. "Dexter has been expecting you," said the Dexbot, "He is waiting for you in the conference room." "Okay. Thanks."I replied as I took the elevator. When I entered the room I suddenly saw a large group of villains in there also. What are they doing here!? One of them then noticed me coming in and walked towards me. From what I could tell, he had blond hair and wearing some kind of armor that almost looks like the kind a samurai usually wears. "Well, look who decided to show up," Chad said, directing all the villain's attention towards me, "It's the time traveling kid!" "Who are you calling a kid, you backstabbing traitor!"I
said, still remembering the time he betrayed the KND. "You trying to start a fight?" "You bet I am. I don't know how all of you got out of Artic prison, but I'm sending all of you back there." Just then, all of the villains pointed their weapons at me and prepared to strike. "Now, then," Chad said in a confident voice, "you were saying?" Oh man. I probably shouldn't have said that, especially with all these villains ganging up on me. I got out my sword and prepared for the worst.

"Enough!" said a voice from afar. Dexter then entered the room, along with Ben, Edd, and Numbuh 1. "We didn't release you from prison just so you can do want you want," Numbuh 1 said, "we let you out so we could settle on a truce." "What!?" I said, surprised. "I guess explanations are in order first," Dexter said, "Very well,
then. I'll start off with why I called you all here today."

30 minutes later.....

"And that's why we need all of you to help us."Dexter finished. "Well, your explanation sounds reasonable enough," Father replied, "Okay then. We will offer our help, but only until we beat Fuse. But remember this: Once this truce is done, We'll all go back to being enemies." "We'll be sure to keep that in mind."Dexter replied. "Well I don't like this idea. Why should we trust them anyway," I said suddenly in anger, "They're the villains! They'll just double cross us the first chance they get!" "What's wrong, kid," Chad said in a almost mocking tone, "still don't trust us?" "I don't like this as much as you do," Dexter answered, "but even if they are villains, we still need all the help we can get." "Besides, this is only temporary. Once Fuse is defeated, we can all go back to fighting the villains again."Ben added. "All right," I said relucantly, "but that doesn't mean that I have to like it." "Same here."Chad said. "So we're all in agreement, then?"Numbuh 1 asked everyone. All the villains shook their heads in a kind of approving manner.

"Okay then, so until Fuse is defeated and our planet is safe, we're a team, and we stick together and help each other out, no matter what."Ben said. "This meeting is over. You can go wherever you want now, but remember: you will be watched. If you turn against us, you will go back to prison."Dexter said.

I walked out of Dexlabs after the meeting, but I was still thinking over what had happened today. Villains and heroes actually working together? I'd never thought that would be possible, since they almost agree on almost anything, or that some of them are mortal enemies. As I walked towards Townsville, I heard some kind of weird voice. "Beware, Adam," it said in a almost ghastly voice that sent chills down my spine, "The hour of destruction draws near." Then, as mysteriously as the voice came, it went away without a trace. Weird. I decided to pay no mind to it and kept walking.

When I arrived in the city, my nanocom started ringing. "So how did the meeting with Dexter go?" asked Michael when I checked to see who was calling. "It had good results. He managed to convice the villains to help us."I answered. "So what happened after I saw Chris chase you?" "He nearly caught up to me, but I managed to get away from him," Michael said, "and I was so close to asking Rosa out until Chris interferred. Anyways, I'll see you guys at the concert tonight, and I'll have a little surprise for Chris when he gets there, so don't tell him about it, okay?" "All right, I won't tell him. But be prepared to run for it afterwards cause he hates getting pranked on."I replied. "Okay then." Michael answered as I ended the call.
