Hello all, this is my Fan-fic. I have no idea how many of you have read it, but all post it here anyways... That way it won't be so lost in the FF forums... I hope you all like it, I worked SUPER HARD on the first six chapters.

Prologue: Fuse Lands

I remember the day Fuse came as clearly as people see the scar on my face. My three friends (Seth, Ashley, and Chelsea) and I were out racing on our hover bikes in the Darklands, completely unaware that our lives were about to change forever. That’s when the earthquakes hit. We heard a loud crashing sound, and we all fell off our bikes. The ground was shaking so hard, trees toppled over. Then, as suddenly as it began, it stopped. We stood up shakily.

“Are you guys okay?” Seth asked, a little uncertainly.

Ashley, Chelsea, and I all nodded our heads.

“That was one crazy earthquake.” Ashley commented. Just as she said that, another earthquake hit, knocking us off our feet. When it stopped, we stood up again.

“Anybody ever heard of two earthquakes happening within two minutes of each other?” Chelsea asked

We all shook our heads.

“Something is definitely wrong,” I said, “I think I should head back home. My parents are probably worried.”

“I think we should all go home.” Seth suggested, heading toward his bike. Then, Ashley spotted smoke rising from the north.

“Hey,” she said, pointing “do you think someone’s house is on fire?”

“Hey, Arlen?” Chelsea asked, worriedly. “Isn’t your house in that direction?”

My heart skipped a beat. “Oh, no.” I whispered, in horror. I jumped on my bike and sped home as fast as I could, my friends close behind me. When we got to my house, it was destroyed. Two large green pods had completely smashed it.

“MOM!” I shouted, in agony “DAD! JESSICA! LUCY!” I got no response. They were all gone. Then, all of a sudden, the green pods started shaking. Out of one came these four black and green monsters, called Road Golems. Out of the other came Fuse. He smiled wickedly at us, and said to his monsters, “Kill them.” The Road Golems attacked. My friends and I tried to fight, but our efforts were in vain. Realizing that a continued fight was futile and being severely injured, we ran to our bikes and fled for our lives, the monsters in close pursuit. As we pedaled furiously, we got separated. Somehow, I managed to lose the monsters. As soon as I was safe, I headed to Sector V, hoping to find help there. I had no idea where my friends were, or if they were even still alive.

Chapter 1: Dexter’s Call

“Lucy, catch!” Arlen yelled, throwing a football. Lucy caught it and yelled, “Jessica, go long!” and threw the ball. All of a sudden, the ball turned into a glob of Fusion matter and hit Jessica in the face. Jessica turned into Fuse and Lucy melted down to a puddle of Ogre Oil. Then, Fuse started singing. “Scooby-Dooby-Doo,” he sang, “where are you? We got some work to do now.”

I woke up with a start. My cell phone was ringing, playing the Scooby-Doo theme song. I got out of bed, picked it up, and answered:

“Hello?”

“Arlen. It’s Dexter.”

“Hey Dex, what’s up?” I asked

“I need you to get to Dexlabs immediately,” he responded. “It’s an emergency.”

“Huh?” I said, not sure I heard him right. “What… what do you mean? What kind of emergency?”

“Look, I’ll explain everything when you get here. I’ve got some people here I want you to meet.”

“Huh?” I said again, still half-asleep. “Who? Who do I have to meet? Dexter, what are you talking about?”

Dexter sighed. “Arlen,” he said, sounding annoyed at my incomprehension of the urgency of the situation, “please, just get down here.” He hung up.

I got dressed quickly, stuffed my phone in my pocket, and walked to the front door of my house. It was a year after Fuse had come to Earth and I had been living there ever since. It had a small living room, a kitchen, a bathroom, and two bedrooms. One of the bedrooms was mine. The other I used as an office/medical room. I put my helmet on and started up my red and black hover bike.

“GPS,” I said, getting on my bike, “I need the fastest route to Genius Grove out of Tech Square.”

I had moved out of the Darklands eleven months ago. Despite resistance attempts, Fuse had taken control of the Darklands in a relatively short time. I hadn’t minded that too much. I was going to move anyway. I needed to escape the memories.

“Coordinates loaded,” My GPS said, interrupting my thoughts. “You will reach your destination in approximately 5 minutes and 55.89 seconds.” I sped east to Genius Grove, wondering what had gone so wrong.

Chapter 2: Dexter’s Mission

I arrived at Dexlabs, parked my bike, and ran into the lobby. There was already a crowd of people in the lobby, standing around something. As I made my way to the front of the crowd, I saw that they weren’t standing around something, but around someone. Dexter was standing on a crate and he had just finished a speech. Almost everyone walked out of Dexlabs, leaving five other people besides myself. “So, do you all accept the mission I’ve given you?” Dexter asked those who remained.

One by one the five other people nodded their heads. I just stood there awkwardly, not understanding what was going on. “Good.” Dexter said, approvingly. “Now, if you could please proceed to the Time Machine, I will be there momentarily.” He indicated the door behind him. As soon as the last person walked through the door, I burst out with a flurry of questions. “Dex, what’s going on? What time machine? Who were those people?”

“Arlen, I’m glad you came. I received messages from the future. My future counterpart told me that, in exactly one month, five days, and seven hours, there is going to be a massive attack by Fuse. It’s going to wipe out our entire army, as well as millions of civilians. My future counterpart also requested that I send a group of people, using my time machine, to invade Fuse’s lair and stop the attack before it happens. The people who just walked through that door are the people who accepted the mission.”

“So,” I asked, “you want me to go to the future, too?”

“Only if you want to,” Dexter replied

“Dex, I… I don’t know. I mean, if you had asked me a year ago, I would have said ‘yes’ in heartbeat. But, after what happened, I just…” I trailed off, not knowing how to explain my indecision.

“Arlen,” Dexter said gently, putting his hand on my shoulder, “I know what happened last year was a horrible thing for you. You don’t have to do this if you don’t want to, but please, before you decide, there are a few people I want you to meet.” Dexter then led me through the door to the time machine.

Chapter 3: Reunited at Last

When I entered the room, I saw Dexter’s time machine. It looked liked a big, blue Plexiglass container with wires coming out of the top. Then I got a good look at the five kids in the room. My heart thumped wildly in my chest. I couldn’t believe my eyes. “JESSICA!” I shouted excitedly, “LUCY!” Jessica and Lucy turned, saw me, and ran over. I hugged them both, tears streaming down my face. “I missed you two so much.” I whispered.

“We missed you too.” Lucy said.

“We thought you were dead,” Jessica added.

“What about Mom and Dad…?”

Jessica looked up at me; the sadness in her eyes was unmistakable. I knew.

“They’re… They’re dead?” I whispered. I had to say it out loud. If I didn’t, I would never really believe it. Lucy nodded her head solemnly. I looked down, sobbing silently. I felt like I had a huge lump in my throat. I couldn’t speak.

“Arlen,” a familiar voice from behind me said hesitantly, “I’m so sorry.”

I turned around to see who it was. I stared at him for a second, not quite recognizing him. He was tall, with black hair, green eyes, and had three pale scars under his left eye, as well as one above his right eyebrow. Then I saw something in his eyes that made me realize who he was. “Seth?” I asked, still not quite sure if I was dreaming or not. “Seth, is that you?”

“Yeah, Arlen. It’s me,” He responded. Then I turned to look at the two girls who were with him. One girl was short with red hair, gray eyes, and a deep black scar on her cheek.

“Ash,” I said, “that IS you, right?”

“Yup,” she assured me.

I turned my gaze to the second girl. She was tall, like Seth, had strawberry blonde hair, steely blue eyes, like mine, and a tiny, pale scar just above her left eyebrow.

“Chelsea!” I said, a grin spreading across my face. Out of all of my friends, I had been closest to Chelsea.

“Hey, it’s good to see you again. Glad you’re okay,” she said, returning my smile. I just stood there, in complete disbelief that my friends and sisters were standing in front of me. It seemed too good to be true.

I turned to Dexter. “Dexter,” I said, “I accept your mission.” Little did I know that those four words, for the second time in a year, were going to change my life all over again.

Chapter 4: Time Travel

Seth, Ashley, Chelsea, Jessica, Lucy, and I stood in Dexter’s time travel machine. “Are you guys ready?” Dexter asked, standing by the controls.

All of us nodded.

“All right, initiating time travel in ten… nine… eight…” Then I saw Dexter’s sister, Dee-Dee, sneak past him and walk out of sight. I had to warn Dexter quick.

“DEXTER!” I shouted. “DEE-DEE!”

“DEE-DEE!” Dexter yelled, turning around. “GET OUT OF MY LABORATORY!”

“Oooo, what’s this button do?” We heard Dee-Dee ask.

“Don’t touch that!” Dexter exclaimed, running out of sight. But it was too late

“Initiating time travel,” Computress said.

The last thing I saw was Dexter rushing back over to the controls before I blacked out.

Chapter 5: Separated Again

When I woke up, I found that I was lying face down in the grass. I stood up, brushed myself off, and took a look at my surroundings. The sky was green and there was a big black dot in the middle of it. The ground around me was covered in Fusion Matter and I couldn’t see my friends or sisters anywhere. They were gone. I had lost them again. All of a sudden, some kind of Fusion monster knocked into me, sending me flying over seven feet away. Struggling to remain conscious, I stood up just in time to see a boy and a girl, teenagers like me, kill the thing. When they saw me, they came over.

“You okay, kid?” the boy asked me.

“Yeah. Yeah, I’m fine,” I answered, staring at the boy. He reminded me of someone, but I couldn’t quite put my finger on it. Then I noticed the watch he was wearing. It wasn’t a watch at all. It was the Omnitrix.

“Hey, you’re Ben Tennyson, right?” I asked.

“Yeah, that’s me.” He responded.

“And your Numbah Five!” I said to the girl.

“Yep,” She said. “And who the heck are you?”

“I’m-” I was about to tell her my name when a giant Fusion Spawn appeared.

“Uh-oh,” Ben said and toward the monster.

I was about to follow, but Numbah Five held me back.

“Here, kid, take this.” She said, handing me a KND blaster.

“Thanks.” We both ran after Ben to kill the monster.

When the beast was dead, Numbah Five panted, “So, you were about to tell me your name.”

“Oh, yeah. I’m Arlen, Arlen McCool.”

“Where’d you come from?” Numbah Five asked, plopping down on the grass

“Um, Genius Grove. We were in Dexter’s time machine before it malfunctioned.”

“Wait. You’re the kid from the past!?” Ben said in astonishment. “And what do you mean by ‘we’?”

Before I could answer, Numbah Five interrupted “And since when does anything of Dexter’s malfunction?”

“Dee-Dee wrecked it,” I answered. “And yeah, my friends and I were sent here by Dexter. He wanted to send us to stop an attack by Fuse.”

“You’re a little late,” Numbah Five said. “That attack happened almost two years ago.”

“WHAT?!” I yelled, shocked. “Dexter said he was going to send us a month into the future, not two YEARS!”

“Must’ve happened when the time machine malfunctioned,” Ben said “We’ve got to get you back to Dexter. He’ll know how to get you to the past.”

“And hopefully he’ll know where your friends are, too.” Numbah Five added.

I hope he does, I thought; We started to walk up a nearby hill, heading toward Sector V. I hope he does.

Chapter Six: Together Forever

When we reached Sector V, I was anxious to get to the treehouse where Dexter had set up a temporary headquarters. When we got there, there was no Dexter. There was, however, a flustered Numbah Two waiting for us.

“Guys, Dexter’s been…” He stopped when he saw me. “Hey, kid! You’re from the past, right?” He asked me.

“Yes.” I said, wondering how he knew.

“Good,” he said. “I’ve got a surprise for you.” Then he whispered something to someone on his NanoCom, and my friends and sisters came running out of the treehouse.

“GUYS!” I shouted, relieved to see them here and all right. We were about to catch each other up on what happened, but Ben interrupted.

“Yes, yes,” he said, sounding slightly annoyed. “There will be time for a reunion later. You were saying, Numbah Two?”

“Oh, yes,” Numbah Two said, worried once again. “Dexter’s been captured by Fusion Buttercup.”

“Oh, no! Not Dex!” Numbah Five exclaimed.

“Kid,” Numbah Two said to me, “I need you and your friends to go defeat Fusion Buttercup and bring Dexter back safely. Fusion Buttercup’s lair is in Tech Square.”

Turning to my friends and sisters, I said “Let’s go guys. We’ve got to save Dexter!”

We all headed to Tech Square to save Dexter.

We are unstoppable, I thought. On our own, we are powerless. But together, we can stop Fuse. I know it.[center]

Cool fan fic, Arlen, but might I suggest you put your chapters on seperate posts? Don't mean to offend you in any way though, okay?

i didnt read it al but the scooby doo part was HIGHlarous i didnt read the rest cuz i needa do my fan-fic
