| What bad luck happened to you/others?
Today, when we got to school the kids started playing four square, and the ball flew onto the roof of the school.
My friend's compass broke...for no apparent reason. He said it wasn't cheap, either.
My favorite: I tripped my friend and told him it was bad luck. TODAY'S GOAL ACCOMPLISHED! =D

| For starters, I had a 19-hour day from 4:30 AM to 11:30 PM and I was absolutely exhausted by the end of the day. This morning, I woke up very sore from it all and I didn't want to get out of bed  . But I had to because of band... Anyway, first, I ran out of Gatorade, so I had nothing to drink that morning during swim practice. Second, this new freshman on the swim team shows up and he's swimming pretty fast, and I'm trying to keep up with him all throughout practice! All that definitely got me beat up by 1st period: I was starving, tired, and incredibly irritable. But at the end of the school day, we (the band) paraded through the school, which got me wide awake and so psyched for that night's playoff game  . But then things started getting screwy from there. Since we were doing a different halftime show that I hadn't practiced with the band (I've been practicing the music and marches on my own for the past week, using those Youtube videos as reference), I kinda messed up some parts here and there. But overall, it went fairly well and my squad members congratulated me on what a good job I did trying . Our show went pretty well, although I did mess up in the 4th song trying to figure out where I was supposed to go initially and slightly screwed up in the dance breaks in Billie Jean and Thriller. And at the end of the show, I think I tasted some turf in my mouth  . Oh, and we lost the playoff game by I forget how much to the then No. 8 seed in our region (who, BTW, beat the No. 1 seed in our region). | |
