Personality: In Book 1, Winni loves to poke fun at her name and has a laughing problem, especially with slapstick humor. She oftens laughs randomly, thinking of funny stuff. She lives by the philosophy "Better laugh than cry." In Book 2, she's a bit more serious, and doesn't laugh randomly anymore. But she daydreams more often and is often immersed in her work. In Book 3, she is a little emotional now,
and is more likely to cry. She develops a crush on Ben throughout the story, and draws him and herself together sometimes. Winni's very hardworking, and will stop at nothing to achieve her goals. Doesn't like to be a burden.

Backstory: Ran away from home at age 9, Winni was exposed to the cold cruel world, and did almost everything she could in order to survive. She made a few friends in the process, though, and never lost hope at a new life with them. Soon a family named the Saturdays took her in for a while, before Winni set off again with goals to persue a romantic life on the road. She worked as a blacksmith's apprentice in every town she came across. At the start of the war Winni immediately joined in to do something useful with her life.
Formal Wear: White dress, white leggings, and black boots.
Alternate outfit: On chilly days, Winni wears a black trenchcoat and corduroy trousers, and still has tattered black gloves.
